Illustrations by Sagaki Keita

These are drawings of Sagaki Keita. The artist used pen and ink for these drawings. The approach is to combine many different sorts of characters and drawings to form a different drawing. I find the approach interesting because when you zoom in each drawing you can see many details. Some of these characters and details are related and some are not. When you look at the illustrations from a distance you can still see some of the details but mostly it becomes an illustration completely different. These illustrations are very complicated but I think that using pen and ink simplifies them.

  1. I can not imagine the process! It should be very difficult to draw all these figures without corrupt the original images and to create shadows and lights from them.. Besides, unrelated details are seen so funny, ı liked these enjoyable figures..
